It's Only the Beginning

Since the start of planning this film opening, my partner and I were stuck on the idea of a love story. Not just some simple archetypal story, but one that draws you in wanting more. Feeling the need to know what happens next. Even though that's a difficult task to execute, we are determined to go through with it.

We first thought: what challenges the conventions of an ordinary love story?

We then came up with the idea of using an Asian girl with dreads and a Hispanic boyfriend. We could use these actors to spread diversity throughout our film. Instead of a stereo typical couple, we went against the grain to create a unique love story.
